A houseboy in Gemade Estate, Ipaja, Lagos,
reportedly suffered second-degree burns after his boss, Mrs Achilefu
poured hot water on his chest and stomach, leaving him in excruciating
pain.
She was detained by the Police shortly after but was after.
It is not known for what is reason the boy was burned by his Madam or if he had suffered some form of abuse from her in the past.
There have been many cases in the past of serious abuse of house servants, especially underage house servants, by their employers, mostly ranging from physical to sexual.
There's the case of a woman who battered her 10-year-old houseboy over missing N500.
She was detained by the Police shortly after but was after.
